Most people think credit repair is just templates and disputes — it’s not.
We built DisputeAI because the old way is broken:
manual intake, recycled letters, slow responses, and disputes are getting flagged as “frivolous.”
This tool uses AI to:
• Analyze credit reports for factual & Metro2 errors
• Generate non-templated dispute letters
• Scale disputes faster without cutting legal corners
• Help individuals, startups, and credit businesses save time
If you’re tired of guessing, copying letters, or waiting months for results — this is the smarter way to start.
This is built for:
• Consumers fixing their own credit
• Entrepreneurs offering credit services
• Startups that need speed, compliance, and clarity
“Your credit report affects almost every part of your life.
Your credit report affects almost every part of your life.
It can determine whether you’re approved for housing, transportation, employment, insurance, or financing. Yet millions of consumers are judged every day by data they’ve never seen, didn’t create, and often cannot verify.
What many people don’t realize is this: credit reporting is regulated by federal law, and you have enforceable rights when that data is wrong, incomplete, outdated, or unverifiable.
Under 15 U.S.C. § 1681i, if you dispute any item’s accuracy or completeness on your credit report, the CRA (Equifax, Experian, TransUnion) must conduct a reasonable reinvestigation.
Must be done free of charge.
Must be completed within 30 days of receiving the dispute.
If you provide additional relevant information during that 30‑day period, they get an extra 15 days (total 45 days).
Credit reports are not court judgments. They are data files created and sold by private companies called Credit Reporting Agencies (CRAs). These agencies collect information from banks, lenders, and debt collectors—known as furnishers.
Because this system relies on automated reporting and resale of data, errors are common:
Accounts reported multiple times
Balances that don’t match statements
Late payments that never occurred
Accounts reappearing after deletion
Debts sold repeatedly without proper documentation
When errors happen, the burden is often pushed onto the consumer—unless you know the law.
⚖️ FEDERAL LAWS THAT APPLY (15 U.S.C.)
Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA)
§1681b — Permissible purpose (who can access your data)
§1681e(b) — Maximum possible accuracy required
§1681s‑2 — Furnisher duties after account sale or transfer
§1681i — Reinvestigation duties when disputed
What Happens When You Dispute an Account

When you submit a dispute:
The credit bureau must open a reinvestigation
The bureau sends an ACDV (Automated Consumer Dispute Verification) to the furnisher
The furnisher must review records and respond
The bureau must report results within the legal timeframe
If the furnisher cannot verify the account accurately, the law requires the bureau to delete or correct it.
You also have the right to request:
A description of how the investigation was conducted
The sources used to verify the account
Updated copies of your credit report
Failure to provide these may constitute violations.

Why AI Tools Changed Credit Repair
Traditional credit repair relied on:
Generic templates
Manual tracking
Slow responses
High costs
Modern AI-powered tools improve the process by:
Analyzing reports line-by-line
Identifying factual inconsistencies
Organizing evidence and timelines
Generating structured dispute documentation
Reducing human error
AI does not replace the law—it helps consumers use it correctly.
Final Thoughts
Credit data controls access to opportunity. Federal law exists to ensure that data is fair, accurate, and verifiable.
When consumers learn the rules, document properly, and use smarter tools, the system becomes accountable.
That’s not credit repair—that’s consumer protection.
