OpenClaw Is Going Viral... While 80% of People Still Don’t Understand AI

What have you built and learned from AI?

Viral OpenClaw AI tool and why it was needed?

Welcome back to another one, and directly from me, the guy and builder. Creator, father, and struggling entrepreneur lol. So to say, I like to make my channel so realistic, and more than ever, with Artificial Intelligence taking over.

Sike, but what I want to get into, and like I state a lot, I come from a whole different demographic that is accustomed to geeks, tech, development, and let's say coding. I'm being honest, I didn't know racism was in the GEEK world lol.

So yeah im a dad, I work, and have a business and side hustle. So yeah, I'm normal lol, and from there though, this is what is making me leave talk about credit alone for now and talk more on the technology and advancements with it escepasically with AI.

There is a big learning gap, creation gap, and exposure when it comes to AI. I will make a direct inquiry about how many times your child came home from school and said something about coding, computer science, develoment or even how to properly function a computer?

Think about that, if this is a new tech, then this means there aren't many curriculum or teachers to teach so many people who are not in the know, and then adapting this to the school system. Yeah, right, how many places have a STEM training or even for me, being an 88 baby, we have an electric class, when last time seen kids or school with something teaching a trade?

For exmaple in numbers, right now there are roughly 800 million people using AI every week.

Only about 2.1 million people are actually building with AI APIs

That means the people building the infrastructure behind these tools are tiny compared to the people using them.

If 800 million people are passengers, only about 1 out of every 300 people is actually driving the car. That's a big builder's gap and a learning gap.

WHAT ARE MOST PEOPLE USING AI FOR

This Halloween I photographed the HiDock P1 and P1 Mini in my home office desk setup. I wanted to capture that cozy work-from-home vibe mixed with a subtle Halloween atmosphere — clean, warm tones with a bit of festive mood. Both devices are compact AI note-taking tools designed for modern workspaces, and I thought it’d be fun to show how they fit naturally into a seasonal setup. All photos were shot and edited by me, Matúš Gocman (matgocman). Feel free to use these shots for your creative or editorial projects — especially if you’re into tech, workspace design, or seasonal desk inspiration.

Most people are using conversational or general AI for searching for Information. This is the #1 use case; about 60% of U.S. adults use AI to search for information, similar to how they would use Google. 36% of AI users use writing or editing tools regularly. 41% of AI users use it for idea generation.

1️⃣ Asking questions
2️⃣ Writing or editing text
3️⃣ Getting ideas

Only about 4% of AI conversations are programming-related. So the reality is:

Most people aren’t building with AI.

They’re just asking questions and writing stuff.

The $5.5 Trillion Problem

The job market is a big risk, especially for white-collar positions, and why? Because there will be only a select few companies that will have the infrastructure to build and employ, leaving out millions for work and/or lower wages.

94% of CEOs say AI is the #1 skill they need right now. But only 35% of workers received any AI training last year. That means companies want the skill…

…but the workforce isn’t being trained for it.

This is also now a $5 Trillion dollar opportuity market.

This will open doors for the hustlers, creators, self-taught, teachers, and real-world builders. People like me and you. I am high on publicizing to people to learn a new hustle, skill, or talent. Generate some income from it, save, and own.

You can turn your skill in this AI stuff and really make a business around, also, there are massive free certifications to help if you want to keep a job or get a better-paying one.

Why the OpenClaw Moment Matters

For me, I think @openclaw was a needed moment in the AI arena. Why, to me it was like when I was a kid, and everyone didn't have a computer, and then they were in every household. Or like the sidekick and Nextel cellphone moment. I know I'm old lol

Why, because it sparked a lot of people's curiosity first, which caused an uptick in this tool and tech more than ever, almost like Bitcoin’s moment. Wish I had stayed and held Bitcoin years ago. Think for me in a pow income area how many people were just using and knew about AI, like yeah I heard about ChatGPT, but people are now learning more with Openclaw viral moment about the use cases of AI. The data states, look at the Google Trends data on openclaw.

The creator of OpenClaw is a developer, but he stated that he Vibe-Coded this project. He then made it free and open-source. Then got a job with OpenAI. And I'm watching a lot of this happening in the market, but not for everyone…

(YCCombinator, when was the last time you saw them invest in a company that's African American?)

No, this isn't about race, just facts on the market, and bringing exposure to But can you still succeed? Yes, why, because those that are actually building are going to beat those that can just pay for an overseas underpaid developer.

Look at it like this, that the most important person isn't the one always driving the Bentley, but the one who knows how to fix it when it breaks.

Thats is where the next need and skill will be, the ones that know how to audit and fix AI systems when they break, or go rogue.

Now, a single developer can build something powerful, and suddenly, big companies start integrating or experimenting with it. That’s a huge mindset shift.

The Business Opportunity Awareness Moment

As I said, this is also an opportunity for those who are actually asking themselves this when building with AI:

  1. Is this AI agent or system actually helping a human?

  2. Does this AI app or tool actually benefit and solve a need or problem?

Right now, you have consulting going up for AI, AI Automation, ChatBots, and massive digital products on how-to guides, code, and Sass products. I say this to my peers like me, being fucked by the economy and inflation to wher $20 like the new five-dollar bill at the store. Lol, seriously though, but this also opens up new streams and ways to passive income.

How? Build a product or service around or with AI. Like, people are making apps daily that are getting paid subscribers. Openclaw allows people to set up AI agents to help run and start businesses. People are using it to learn how to trade stocks, cryptocurrency, and forex. There are many more hustles and gigs you can now integrate with AI to help you make some extra money.

The Opportunity Most People Miss

Right now, 800 million people use AI. Only a few million build with it.

That gap means something.

It means the people learning to build right now are extremely early. Think about it like the early internet.

In the early 2000s:

Millions used websites, only a small number of people knew how to build websites. Those people built the internet economy.

We’re in that same moment again.

But this time it’s AI infrastructure.

The Question That Will Matter Soon

The question in jobs, startups, and business is going to shift.

It won’t be:

“What AI tools do you use?”

It will be:

“What have you built?”

The 3 questions that will be asked of you when it comes to AI:

What system did you design?

What workflow did you automate?

What product did you ship?

Final Thought

Artificial intelligence awareness created the wave.

Builders are the ones riding it.

Right now, the world has hundreds of millions of AI users, but only a small fraction of people actively building with the technology. That gap represents one of the largest opportunities emerging in the digital economy today.

As AI continues to integrate into business, finance, media, and everyday life, the people who understand how to build systems — not just use them — will be positioned to shape the direction of the technology itself.

The question is no longer whether AI will influence the future.

The real question is whether someone chooses to participate as a builder or remain only a consumer of the tools others create.
